1970 Cuda 340 - Perfection

When this professional full nut and bold restoration started, there were 2 goals set for the restoration: 1. Perfection 2. Originality Then the Cuda was completely disassembled and placed on a rotisserie while the all steel body was being massaged to perfection, the date code correct 340 with “X” heads and a 1970 cast intake engine received a complete rebuild. In addition, the original 727 automatic transmission and 8 ¾ rear end with 355 gears have also been rebuilt. After the original color of Lemon Twist Yellow was flawlessly applied over the perfect sheet metal, reassembly then started with attention to detail in every nut and bolt and every square inch of the Cuda with no expense being spared. Every part of the suspension, brakes, fuel system and steering was either replaced or rebuilt. Now that the Cuda is back on all four of its restored wheels and trim rings with new BF Goodrich radial T/A tires, it was time to assemble the interior. Open the doors and find perfection once again with attention to detail in the show room fresh interior which is better than the day the Cuda rolled off the assembly line. Pull the pins on the Cuda’s sport hood and you will see the spotless engine compartment detailed with all the correct colors and with the freshly rebuilt 340 with the un-silenced air cleaner. When you think of a striking color combination, this Cuda makes a huge statement with the mirror like Lemon Twist Yellow paint topped off with the full black vinyl roof with the sport stripes and black vinyl interior. The fit and finish of the Cuda surpasses the definition of lazer straight and perfect. It has less than 1,000 miles on it since the concours level restoration. The 1970 Cuda is considered by many as the most sought after of all the Cudas and remains a heavy hitter in the market place today. It is a very desirerable collector muscle car. Photos of before, during and after the restoration are included in the purchase.
