1936 Buick Special Series 40 - FLAWLESS

This professional concours level restoration started with a rust free car.  It was totally disassembled and then pain stakingly reassembled with attention to detail in every nut and bolt.   Every part of this 36 Buick was rebuilt to its original specifications and then taken to the next level….perfection.  Absolutely no expense was spared.

When you walk around the car, the first thing you notice is the flawlessly applied two-tone paint and the mirror like reflections of yourself in the paint.  Then you start to notice the excellent fit of all the doors, trunk, hood lines and all the flawless chrome.

After you have examined the exterior of this beautiful vehicle, open the door and sit behind the famous Buick Banjo steering wheel and view the perfectly restored dash and interior.  You will notice immediately the clock which still keeps perfect time.  You begin to feel that you have stepped back in time 77 years to 1936 and you are at your local Buick dealership.

Now you can’t wait to see what is hiding under the split hood.  You open the hood and you see a highly detailed engine compartment with the famous Buick Inline 8 cylinder motor.  This everything you would expect and more.

During your test drive, you will feel and see that this vehicle drives and rides as Buick intended…straight and smooth.  However, you know there is something more to this car and that is perfection.

The 1936 Buick is an extremely hard car to come by, especially restored to a concours level and it is truly a piece of American History.  There has been less than 3,000 trouble free miles put on award winning this vehicle since its completion.  A photo album of the complete build process is included.
